GLEN ROSE CAMPUS
What are StoneWater’s services like?
Our worship services are a safe place where you can hear a life-changing message about Jesus Christ. Here are a few things you can expect each week:
1. Modern music (with a full band) that you can sing with or simply just listen to and enjoy.
2. Practical and relevant Biblical teaching.
3. Real people dressed causal. “We don’t care what you wear as long as you wear something.”
4. Lots of families with kids.
5. Refreshments – We serve free coffee and donuts every Sunday.
6. Warm and casual atmosphere.
7. Creativity: many times there will be videos, real-life illustrations, or something unexpected to capture your attention.
As a church, we try hard to present the unchanging message of Christ in a way that is very real and practical for your life. Our methods are often different from the traditional church, but our message is Biblical and our goal is to see Christ work in real ways in your life. We believe that church should not be boring and that the Christian life should be a life of adventure. Our Sunday morning services try to clearly communicate this truth.
What are the messages like? Our teaching pastors communicate Biblical truths with sincerity, warmth, and humor. Each weekend you’ll find their messages are Bible-based, offering practical life guidance that is easy to understand. Whether you have been following Christ for some time or are curious about what a relationship with God looks like, you’ll feel as if they are speaking to you one-on-one. Our messages are typically grouped in a series, giving you a comprehensive view of a given passage or topic.
What kind of music can I expect at StoneWater? Modern worship is led by our vocal team and worship band. We strive for musical excellence, but we don’t want to merely put on a show. Rather, we desire that you encounter God in an authentic way during our time together.
How do I get there? StoneWater Church is located right off Highway 144 at 5645 N Hwy 144 Granbury, TX 76048. Click here for a map.
What do I do when I arrive? From the moment you pull onto campus, our greeters will help you find your way. If you have children, there will be guest helpers at the doors and registraiotn desk where your child will be registered by one of our helpful StoneWater Kids volunteers and given a nametag with a code. You will be given a tag with their unique code so you can be sure you’ll be the only one allowed to pick up your child after service. A greeter will escort you to your child’s class where the StoneWater Kids staff will welcome your child with open arms. If you don’t have children, grab a cup of coffee and a donut in the lobby of the main entrance and head into the worship center. If you have any questions, stop by the Information Center in the Lobby.
What is appropriate to wear in church? Whatever you normally wear. We are more concerned with meeting you than with what you wear. At StoneWater Church, you’ll see nearly every style of clothing, from casual to business professional.
What About My Kids? At StoneWater Church, children are a priority. We consider it an honor to encourage and equip parents to invest in the next generation (Proverbs 22:6). Our Children’s Ministry, called StoneWater Kids, is a safe and fun environment for kids to grow in their relationship with God and others.
We prioritize children because we understand they are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3). As a church, we know that we are developing tomorrow’s leaders by sowing biblical truths into their hearts. Children naturally want to know they have a significant purpose in life and our hope is to see each child fulfill that God-given purpose. It’s never too early to start learning about God and His love for us!
StoneWater Kids offers the following programs for children:
What if my children need me while I’m in the service? Each week when your child checks in, you will receive a security tag. On that tag will appear a unique code. If your child needs you during the service, your child’s code will appear on the message boards under the screens in the Worship Center.
